Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days, but I’m sure you understand why I’ve been absent!
Things are going well around here. My mom is still visiting, and still cleaning my house on a daily basis. In fact, it’s barely 9 a.m. and she’s already planning on pulling out the vacuum in a few minutes to do the main floor. CootieGirl is at daycare, Denis is off to the office for a few hours, CootieBoy is sleeping in his bassinet in our room, and I took a few minutes to hop online.
The Olympics are almost over. Frankly, I could have posted nearly every single day on the Olympics – it’s what I’ve watched for the past two weeks! Last night’s men’s 200M race made me mad. What made me mad is that the Greeks were chanting and booing the Americans, when it was their own guy that broke the rules and most likely doped up (we’ll never know since he skipped the test then had a mysterious motorcycle “accident” and withdrew from the games). So I was quite pleased when our guys came in 1-2-3. I don’t know when I’ve ever seen a more rude bunch of SPORTS SPECTATORS (and that includes those at a Red Sox/Yankees game). I mean, c’mon people, it’s SPORTS. So not worth getting that upset over that you would BOO other atheletes that haven’t even done anything wrong.
In other news, I’ve been horribly lax in my Netflix viewings. I’ve only managed to watch “Peter Pan” since I’ve been home from the hospital. Hopefully I can make up for some lost time and start watching a couple movies per week starting next week. We’ll see. As for “PP”, I really liked it – enough that I may even consider getting a used copy from Amazon.com.
