So over the past couple of weeks I’ve gotten a new food craving with the pregnancy. I feel obliged to post about it because it’s so strange.
I crave fruit. Like ALL the time.
Why is that strange? I’m not a big fruit eater. I typically eat applesauce with dinner a couple times a week and that’s about it. And that’s SWEETENED applesauce, not the all natural “good for you” applesauce.
But lately I’ve been craving apples (I’ve had one a day at work for the past two weeks), oranges (I’ve had about 3 of those in the past two weeks), peaches (granted they are canned peaches, but at this point it’s still amazing), and just a few minutes ago I had a few slices of fresh watermelon that was delivered to the office by a restaurant in our building. It’s all I can do not to run back to the conference room and snag the rest of the watermelon before it’s gone.
My mom would be so proud. Jaynee’s eating fresh fruit. Voluntarily. She’s all grown up!
