Sewing

Ladies and Gentlemen – I have a sewing machine! When Denis got home we quickly got the sewing cabinet my mom gave me up into the guest/work room. It’s a perfect fit in the spot I made for it.

I immediately went to work cutting out some fabric (a patterned fleece and a solid flannel) to make a test “lovey” blanket. I carefully looked through the manual that came withe machine to make sure I had all the settings right. And then I slowly began sewing. Is it EVER an improvement on the old sewing machine. WOW! Once the initial stitching was done I decided to play a bit and put a specialty stitch around the outside of the lovey. I’m very pleased with my first effort. 1. Keep up the good work! Once you truly get the hang of it you won’t be able to stop. I LOVE to sew! Wish I had more time…
