Friends Finale. What a disappointment. It was a bit formulaic and nowhere near the caliber of a M*A*S*H or Seinfeld series finale. I heard the first hour (the clip show) was fantastic though, so I’m looking forward to watching my taped copy tonight.

ER. Why oh why did I watch last night’s episode? *spoilers ahead* I knew based on the previews that something devastating would happen to Carter’s baby, and as soon as they revealed what happened I immediately began panicking about my own frickin’ pregnancy. All of a sudden it became very important that The Bean move more often (he’s pretty lazy thusfar despite a few bursts of activity here and there). So if he doesn’t start moving more in the next week, then at my appointment a week from Monday I’ll be asking if they can do another ultrasound just to make sure everything is okay in there. Thanks for that, ER.

  1. Jay and I were talking about that last night after we watched ER…that it would add to nervousness for people. I know I can’t expect to feel the little one consistently yet, so I thought I’d escaped…until I couldn’t sleep anyway! I’m sure The Bean is doing great, but you need your peace of mind, too. Thank God for modern technology that can help give us that.

Have a wonderful vacation, and try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know).

  2. My baby doesn’t move nearly as much or as vigorously (read: painfully) as my daughter did. I’m not sure why, but the doctor says everything is ok. I like to live in the delusion that it’s because his personality is more laid back and easy going than my daughter’s. Hey, I can dream!
