Mmmmm….Pizza. And a Giveaway Contest!

I love pizza, and if I could get away with it, I’d eat it every day.  It’s that yummy.  My only problem is that I’ve been known to go overboard and eat 3-4 slices in one sitting on a “bad” day (depending on your outlook).  It was with great pleasure that I accepted an invitation to try the new FRESCHETTA� By the Slice pizza now available in grocery stores nationwide.

Freschetta pizza by the sliceThe by-the-slice option is fantastic.  This way I can enjoy some pizza without downing 1000s of calories at once.  I debated which flavor to try (they have BBQ Recipe Chicken, Vegetable Medley, Chicken, Spinach & Mushroom and Six Cheese Medley) and in the end opted for the six cheese variety.  I already knew in advance that I’d love it – I’m a big fan of Freschetta, as I said.  And the single slice version is no different.  What makes Freschetta stand out is their thin crust.  I don’t like thick crust pizza at all, and always try to get thin crust when I buy pizza.  In my opinion, Freschetta has some of the best frozen thin crust pizza around.

But I know what you are really here for: the giveaway contest!  I have in my hot little hands two things for you.  First is a coupon to get a free FRESCHETTA� By the Slice pizza so you can try it for yourself and see how yummy their pizza is.  But not only that, I have a 6-piece storage container set, also provided by FRESCHETTA® By the Slice.  The three containers are 34 oz, 18.7 oz and 12 oz, each with a snap-on lid.  The lids feature a silicone seal around the top, enabling you to store liquids in them without fear of leakage.  These containers are microwave safe and can be washed in the dishwasher.

I received a set from Freschetta in addition to my free coupon, and I have already used them once or twice – they are great.  They are the perfect size for leftovers, and the fact they are microwave safe is a bonus as well.

  1. I prefer thin, thin crusts and my favorite is white pizza or multi-cheeses. (In France, they had these individual pizzas called ‘cyclops’ that were your basic tomato sauce, cheese and basil…with an egg in the middle. But I can’t find those here in USA)
    Now I’m hungry.

  2. I like thin or thick– depending on my mood and level of hunger! I love tangy sauce and usually have sausage, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, and mushrooms on mine.

  3. i like thick crust with a tangy sauce and pepperoni, muchrooms, and banana peppers! Lots of cheese!

  5. I like a nice thick, chewy crust with a tangy sauce and pepperoni, onions, and green peppers topped with mozzarella cheese.

  6. I like medium crust pizza with black olives, mushrooms, and sausage, and every once in a while extra cheese, too!

  7. I like mine pretty plain, pepperoni pizza, thin crust, no other toppings except cheese! Mmm sounds good right now actually! 🙂

  8. Thick crust, but I like a specialty pizza on it. My favorite is Philly Cheese Steak (w/onions) but I’ll take a mexican taco pizza as well.

    If the limit is more traditional, sausage and pepperoni, heavy on the sausage, please.
