So today I’m wearing my contact lenses. I haven’t worn them in about a year and a half – but they feel fine and my eyesight is crystal clear. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to begin wearing these permanently and have my glasses become my backups.
I’ll probably need to get new lenses though – simply because these ARE so old. However, The Company’s healthcare only allows for eye exams – it doesn’t cover the glasses or lenses, so I’ll have to save up to get lenses in a few months.
My eyes are bright blue today (instead of their regular green). Surprisingly, no one has said anything about them yet. But then, I’ve been holed up in my cube most of the past hour.
