Lincoln ranked best president by historians

From Yahoo News:

“WASHINGTON – Just days after the nation honored the 200th anniversary of his birth, 65 historians ranked Abraham Lincoln as the nation’s best president.

“In C-SPAN’s only other ranking of presidents, in 2000, former President Bill Clinton jumped six spots from No. 21 to 15. Other recent presidents moved positions as well: Ronald Reagan advanced from No. 11 to 10, George H.W. Bush rose from No. 20 to 18 and Jimmy Carter fell from No. 22 to 25.”

But what about George W. Bush, you ask? I’m glad you asked. Here is what the survey had to say about him:

“Former President George W. Bush, who left office last month, was ranked 36th out of the 42 men who had been … continue on, dear reader!

In GREAT Shape!

Wow – today might actually be a restful day! We got almost everything done during the week despite Denis being out on Monday night and last night being taken up with CootieBoy’s Christmas pageant. These are the same people who have blinders on when it comes to President Bush and his disregard of a little something we call our Constitution.

Of course her ethics violation means nothing to those who love her style of “straight-shootin'” politics. Nor will it tarnish her hockey-mom status, but she had us all believin’ she’s a “breath of fresh air” in politics, not part of the Washington establishment, not in … continue on, dear reader!

Dr. Horrible – Act III, The Finale

So worth it in every way. *sigh* I can’t wait until Joss Whedon has a show on TV again. And I love how once again Marti Nixon and David Fury got in on the action by portraying the newsfolks in this chapter (they also sang in the musical episode of Buffy). For those that don’t know – they are writers and producers of Buffy and Angel.
