We’re Here to Make The Pigs Itch

Book Club

Posted on | March 3, 2008 | 1 Comment

I figured that I would re-post this since it was posted over the weekend with very little traffic coming here.

—————————————————

So, I’m part of my neighborhood book club, and I recently did a website for them in the hopes of getting some online discussion. The book club only meets once every two months, and the woman who created the original website had hoped that people would participate on the website in between meetings.

The site I did has been live for a couple weeks now, and NONE of my book club ladies have checked in over there. It’s a bit disheartening. I emailed a couple non-neighborhood people about it, and they were kind enough to stop over, but now I’m opening it up. You like books? Want to participate in an online version that only requires you to read a book every other month (which is good when the book is REALLY long)?

Then come to Our Li’l Book Club. The next book being read is due in mid-April, so there’s plenty of time.

Hope to see you there!

Well, I brought the book with me to the Hockey Game (Anthony got 4 great seats to the Devils vs. Capitols) and I thought for sure that I would be bored out of my head. However, we took two of our friends and had a really great time… the new Pru. Arena in Newark is beautiful. Anyway, didn’t get a chance to read it. Hopefully since its such a small book once I do pick it up I will be able to zip right through it. Maybe this weekend.
