Key Fob In Hand

Posted on | January 10, 2007 | 1 Comment

Last night I popped over to the gym after work and picked up my key fob to get in after hours. There were only three people there working out at 6:45 pm. Nice! I mean, I feel bad that the owners don’t have more people signed up for the gym, but I’m thrilled that I won’t have to spend half my time waiting for a piece of equipment to be available for thirty minutes. No, in the beginning I’ll get to use a treadmill for an hour if I want to! Woo hoo!! I set up my appointment for my hour with a personal trainer to get a program in place. That will be tomorrow at 7 p.m. Then I will be good to go to begin working out efficiently to achieve my goals: tone up, lose weight, be able to breathe after going up and down the stairs a few times).

And then today I finally received the two pairs of workout pants that I ordered online. The ones I currently have are sadly just a teensy weensy bit too tight in the waist (but in my defense the elastic on those pants was ALWAYS tight – even when I was 20 pounds lighter). Now I just need to find my tennis shoes and I’ll be all set. They’re in the house somewhere!

Good luck on your workout path, Jane. I need the motivation, because I’ve been saying I’ll exercise every night this week – and haven’t once.
